Bridle rosettes were used during the victorian period to adorn the bridle of carriage horses. The rosettes were designed to slide onto the bridles headstall where the browband attaches. Pristine examples such as the one featured in this necklace are becoming increasingly rare. The rosette measures 1 3/4" in diameter and is mounted on a bronze bezel. The pendant is suspended from an 18 - 19" necklace of hand knotted white freshwater pearls. One of a kind.

Jewelry Care
Jewelry Care
If you wear your jewelry on a regular basis; simply polishing regularly with a soft cloth will keep it looking its best. If your jewelry does tarnish, we recommend Sunshine Polishing Cloths which can be purchased on Amazon. These cloths will remove tarnish from sterling and bronze easily and quickly. Simply rub your jewelry with the cloth and voila, tarnish is gone. Once the cloth blackens all over, it's time to use a new one.
