Bridle rosettes were used during the victorian period to adorn the bridles of carriage horses. Rosettes were designed to slide onto the bridle's headstall where the brow band attaches. Pristine examples such as the one featured in this necklace are becoming increasingly rare. The rosette measures 1 3/4" in diameter and is mounted on a complementary bronze bezel. The pendant is suspended from a 19" necklace of large hand knotted copper freshwater pearls. These pearls have a beautiful luster, and are unique in that there is some variation in size and shape which only adds to the artisan quality of this gorgeous necklace. One of a kind.

Jewelry Care
If you wear your jewelry on a regular basis; simply polishing regularly with a soft cloth will keep it looking its best. If your jewelry does tarnish, we recommend Sunshine Polishing Cloths which can be purchased on Amazon. These cloths will remove tarnish from sterling and bronze easily and quickly. Simply rub your jewelry with the cloth and voila, tarnish is gone. Once the cloth blackens all over, it's time to use a new one.
