Bridle rosettes were used during the victorian period to adorn the bridles of carriage horses. Rosettes were designed to slide onto the bridle's headstall where the brow band attaches. Pristine examples such as the one featured in this necklace are becoming increasingly rare. The rosette measures 1 1/2" in diameter and is mounted on a complementary sterling silver bezel. The pendant is suspended from a three strand necklace of small copper beads with a gold plated toggle closure. One of a kind.

Jewelry Care
Jewelry Care
If you wear your jewelry on a regular basis; simply polishing regularly with a soft cloth will keep it looking its best. If your jewelry does tarnish, we recommend Sunshine Polishing Cloths which can be purchased on Amazon. These cloths will remove tarnish from sterling and bronze easily and quickly. Simply rub your jewelry with the cloth and voila, tarnish is gone. Once the cloth blackens all over, it's time to use a new one.
