The mariner's link chain first came into use in the 1800's where it was used on ships to secure anchors. Jewelry designers such as Hermes and Gucci have used mariner's links in their designs for decades. This lovely 8" sterling silver mariner's link bracelet has a lovely patina and is comfortable to wear. Suspended from the bracelet is a hand-engraved brass button from the York and Aintsy Hunt in Great Britain. The button shows the wear you would expect for a piece dating back to the mid-1800's. One-of-a-kind.

Jewelry Care

If you wear your jewelry on a regular basis; simply polishing regularly with a soft cloth will keep it looking its best. If your jewelry does tarnish, we recommend Sunshine Polishing Cloths which can be purchased on Amazon. These cloths will remove tarnish from sterling and bronze easily and quickly. Simply rub your jewelry with the cloth and voila, tarnish is gone. Once the cloth blackens all over, it's time to use a new one.
