This gorgeous bronze medal from France features Marianne, the French symbol of animal protection, surrounded by the animals she looks after. It is engraved with the date 1897 on the reverse side. The medal is prong set in sterling silver and suspended from an 18" gorgeous hand-knotted necklace of copper freshwater pearls. The photos don't do the richness of this patina justice! One of a kind!

Jewelry Care
Jewelry Care
If you wear your jewelry on a regular basis; simply polishing regularly with a soft cloth will keep it looking its best. If your jewelry does tarnish, we recommend Sunshine Polishing Cloths which can be purchased on Amazon. These cloths will remove tarnish from sterling and bronze easily and quickly. Simply rub your jewelry with the cloth and voila, tarnish is gone. Once the cloth blackens all over, it's time to use a new one.
