Vintage buttons such as this once graced the front or cuff of bespoke hacking, shooting and hunting jackets. The detail and relief in these buttons which date back to the early 1900's is impossible to find in modern buttons. This lovely example features a gorgeous stylized horseshoe with nails and frog on crocheted cord. The brass button still shows highlights of the silver plating that once covered it. This 1" button has been prong set in sterling silver and suspended from a 17" three strand necklace of crocheted cord punctuated with white Swarovski pearls.
