This extraordinary 1 3/4" French St. Hubert's medal is incredibly unique. The classic Basset Hound, symbol of St. Hubert is centered on the front side of the medal over the words "Societe' Canine de L'Oise". Oise is a department in northern France with four arrondissements—Beauvais, Clermont, Compiègne and Senlis, all of which are featured on this medal. The bronze medal is bezel wrapped in sterling silver and shows the classic symbol of a stag wrapped by a hunting horn, with cross overhead, on the reverse. This medal is bezel wrapped in sterling silver and suspended from a lovely necklace of freshwater pearls in tones of champagne and peach.
